Dashboard warning lights question?

I have a 1994 22RE Toyota truck. A battery warning light and a break warning light turns on in my dashboard whenever I accelerate, as soon as I take my foot of the gas they go away? I checked to make sure the parking brake wasn't on and that the brake fluid wasn't low. The battery is brand new, less then a month old. Any ideals? Maybe the alternator? Kind of at a loss where to go on this, any help is appreciated. Thanks

QUITE POSSIBLE; Both brake and charge light coming on usually points to alt-charging system, and NOT the brake system.

However, don't jump to conclusion before verifying a few things, doing a few checks and inspecting things yourself. It would cost you nothing, and only tools you need are your senses and a volt-meter.

See charging system explained on my sig.
