Hi all,

I got a CV boot kit from my usual guy, he normally has parts straight out of the same Japanese factory, but without the pricetag.
Anyway, this kit is just the boots and no longer has the grease, so I bought some Moly CV grease to use on the inners and outers (Moly, Lithium based, NLGI2)

I'm curious though, what is the brown/yellow grease the manual says to use on the Inboard 'Tulip' joint? does anyone know exactly?

The other threads mention that of course the outer CV joint grease is black moly, but I'm curious to know if the other one is just a thinner Moly grease, or something different.

dont know , but i use simple inpact grease on my cv and u joints and wheel bearings,, been using this for ten years, it is a pain to work with
