i will trade body panels with you, seriously
they have rust just around the wheel well, and it is not that much
just what you would have to cut oh, and there is a little around the gas tank, but that can be easily fixed
seriously, if you want to trade, pm me

I really am not going larger than 35s (given that always seems to change) But I want to open up the fenders to fit, i know if i got a small lift it would clear fine for that size. I will do a SAS. I am thinking 2 inch lift. I am curious if the springs used for the SAS in the kits are the same size as the factory springs (length wise) as stock solid axle rigs. If so i could get away with getting a set of smaller lift springs for a stock vehicle and home brew my SAS. Also with this SAS I am debating on going spring under and getting custom leaf packs for better flex. Why? The spring under adds some stability. I am not looking for extreme rock crawling, but a super stable setup. I always argues with friends of mine in the local clubs who have rigs that are super flexy but have no lockers, they can articulate like hell but get no traction. But back on subject, for trimming i want to take out abotu an inch or two. I am not a fan of comp cutting and all that, I wanta Toyota and will try to keep it looking like a toyota. Bobbing the rear, i would love to do, but that is the one mod that i cant see doing to the rig, being so clean it is. Who knows i may find a differnt rig to cut up. Still alot of it is in planning stages.

Thanks guys!
I don't think that you will find a SAS kit with 2'' lift springs, yet alone a SAS kit with a spring under. You will have to make your own home brew kit. However you could get the spring hangers etc. from one of the reputable dealers that sell whole kits.

Yeah smallest i saw was 3 inches and i dont think it was made anymore. If the springs used in the kits are the same lengths as stock springs for solid axle trucks and runners, i would try to get a lift kit for the early vehicle and use it. They should have a 2 inch lift for odler rigs. As for spring under, that will definately have to be a custom spring setup.

Trail Gear has 3" springs. I don't think you have to relocate the rear hangers with the 3" rear springs. Obviously the front you will need to add hangers. They make those as well. The springs alone are fairly reasonably priced but its all the other stuff that gets expensive. You are better off buying the whole front kit. You get a significant discount. I added it all up once.
