Custom cab? Extended cab? What the hell was it? I want one...

I saw a 86-88 pickup 4x4, long bed. no biggie, right?





The cab was a lot bigger than the extended cab.... almost as if there may have been some actual seats behind the front ones instead of just those crappy benches.



Was this production? Crazy fab? He was going the other way so i couldnt follow him to ask him.

i know a guy whos got a 2nd get king cab. its all stock cept some 31" bfg ATs. its pretty cool inside.. tho i honestly think the exterior looks like butt. but its a rare yota so im down with em.

They are cool, but not pretty. They upward going roofline reminds me of the long wheelbase Chevy Trailblazers/GMC Envoys of a few years ago.

I've seen these before. I believe it was a company that customized a certain amount of the trucks and put them up for sale.

I went to Napa today to get a feeler gauge and low and behold there was one of those "king cabs" right there in the parking lot! I looked around the store to find the owner to ask about it but he/she was no where to be found. IMHO the thing was kinda ugly in person.

YEah i red up on them it was a company that did the conversions kind of like mega cab long bed

We have a few of those out here in ridgecrest. Interesting trucks, but they all seem to be beat to hell a little more than the other yota trucks of the same years.
