Custom or bought hold scoop?

So I've been thinking with my 3.slow it'd help get more air into the engine compartment and I love hood scoops on the newer tacomas. Searching a little On here and can't find anything that someone has done. Custom I could do with a little time and friends. And dimensions. I'd like to buy a scoop and do that. I'm up for anything.

If you want to build one then go get yourself some cardboard scissors and tape. Start playing around and see what you come up with that you like. With the cardboard you can easily make changes and cut off more or tape more on. Then when your done you have a template if you need.

I made my cowl out of a newer tacoma scoop. Cut it off a hail damaged hood, turned it around, waved my magic wand and now it looks sexy. Theres pics on here somewhere. Search "hood scoop" and "cowl hood" and you'll find a few threads
