I Won !!!!!!!!!!!!! The bolt can suck it.
I cut it with a angel grinder from HF and then beat it whit a Chisel and small sledge hammer. ( Claw hammer was not cutting it. ) I used my breaker bar the first time and The head rounded. No i can get on to the rest of the tear down. I think I'm going to need to replace the bolt. should I go to Toyota or is there a cheap aftermarket one?
But here is the pick it also had some kind of thread lock all over it.
WooHoo did not cut into the harmonic balancer.
Close up of the thread lock stuff.

Congratulations! Hopefully the rest of the project will be easier.
That thread lock stuff could be Locktite Red, which is designed for joints that never need to be disassembled. Looks like the previous "mechanic" set you up good.

Very nice of Demonrunner. Since you weld, something that I have seen and now you have an opportunity to do is weld a 1/2" drive socket to the flange. Then you can just use any half inch drive ratchet with short extension and the engine can be rotated easy. I just installed a cam and this would have helped checking the cam timing. Also easy to just let the rachet hang for adjusting your valves when turning it every 90 degrees. Comes in handy. Just a thought.
Glad you got it off, I guess the lok-tite explains it. I've never had this much problems removing a crank bolt off any engine. Congrats

Oh, I don't know, that bolt doesn't look too bad ...
I believe obmi has a 3VZE, which apparently has a different bolt. http://www.toyotapartsoverstock.com/...rimLevel=18292
And I can't imagine getting it anywhere cheaper than $7 (plus shipping, but still)!

Follow the part number, click on "Fitment," and -- you're right, it won't fit an '86.
Then you go back to the beginning, put in the right information (you should do this for yourself), and you get 90105-14004 http://www.toyotapartsoverstock.com/...rimLevel=18292
I've had good luck with Toyota parts overstock .com, but I ordered very simple stuff. Others have reported getting parts advice on the phone. That gives you the chance to give them your VIN and be as sure as you can be that you're ordering the right part.
Or print the picture, go to your local dealer with your VIN, and have their counterman advise you. Don't expect a Brick-and-Mortar dealer to get close to internet prices, but there are lots of advantages to dealing local.

Heat
Facilitates disassembly of "red LocTite" assembled. See the youtube video.
May affect heat treatment of parts and fasteners e.g. bolts, nuts, capscrews, washers, etc. etc. e.g. welding operations

Just wanted to show the instruments of Justice used on the bolt. Not shown is the angel grinder Looks like I did nick it after all . I don't know how much if any effect it will have. But if i need to buy a new harmonic balancer then so be it.
