Couple Lift Questions
Been reading around for a while and now I got a couple questions.
I got a 1990 Toyota Pickup Extracab with a 22re with Manual Tranny. I just got done putting a new tranny in it(Tried to teach Girlfriend how to drive Manual). So I wanna lift my truck now and I am thinking about going with:
BJ Spacers, OME Torsion Bars for the front
Marlin Crawler 4 or 5 inch Springs in the Back.
Then a 1.5 or 2 inch Bodylift from RB.
Now the question I got will I be able to squeeze some 35's without trimming or should I just grab some 33's? I live in Hawaii so you guys know that we atleast need 35's . The truck is mostly gonna be a Daily Driver with some Off-Roading to get to surf spots and to go camping.
Last is for Tires I was thinking Mickey Thompsom Baja Claw Radials, BFG MT/Rs or Toyo MT/Rs. For the off-roading I will be doing it will mostly be Rocks and Sand so anyone got any opionions on which on would be better?
Sorry for the long post and thanks for any responses

Seems like that would sit nose down quite a bit with that much in the back. IMO, I wouldn't go to 35s without SAS. Its just too much trouble, and it performs and looks much better. I'm sure thats out of the question though. I say go with BJs, shackels or AAL and 33s.

That lift should work fine with 35"s. Your biggest problem will the huge loss of power to the wheels. Your 22re is going to be working hard to turn the tires, unless you regear your differentials. 5.29 gears work great with 35"s and a manual. If you regear, consider a locker(s). With the lift, the tires might rub some when you turn the wheel all the way depending on the width of them, no biggy. I love my 35" BFG MT's.
