well my 4runner's back and running great after a $5500 fix...basically this engine was a can of worms. ended up havin to do a complete upper end rebuild and half of a lower rebuild. new heads, oil cooler, hoses, the list goes on. for anyone buying a "rebuilt" 4runner - ALWAYS get paperwork/receipts/etc from the seller!!!

great to have it back and running better than ever. a lesson learned for the future in buying new cars. thanks to R&A Import Auto in Flagstaff, Arizona. Did a great job on fixing my 3.0's mess. Definitely recommend them for anyone in northern Arizona.

 

Jezus, $5500??? you could have had a supercharged 3.4 for that.

well ive got a 3.0 that i can sell you it died on me but everything is good internally. i live in az and ill let it go for $550 let me know what you think.

 

Whats wrong with it? Why did it die? How many miles on it? What was it in?
