I liked that second set of pictures much better than the ones in the first post.

Just like any other loved one, don't dwell on the ending. Remember the good times and how much fun they were.

yep. i have SOOO many memories from my old truck. the things we shared... the chunks out of concrete poles, the little scratches we "found", the chicks that liked the bench seat, the one race we ever won that was against a sunfire, how ironic is that. lol. good times.

YOTAS NEVER DIE!!!

Well body shop rescued her from impound... They took one look and dropped her in the "total loss" parking lot... frame is damaged beyond repair... So at least I'm not waiting a month for something to happen now. I hope! 2 full days just to get a rental car outta the insurance company; and it was a dodge quad cab hemi 4x4... traded quickly on a f150... hoping for a small rental - hard to come by on a long weekend apparently...

Now to begin the 4Runner Ressurection!

Not happy with the options I had - and I was definitely mistaken when I said it wouldn't take a month Still waiting on my cheque...

This one at least has a decent underbody - frame and body mounts in good shape like my old truck... Engine's pretty poor and stuck with a 5spd (blew my left knee apart - barely able to test drive this one). Kept the old truck (of course) Time to start the ressurection

My question is, at what point does buying an 18 y/o kid with little to no driving experience a Vette seem like a good idea?

Yeah give a corvette to a stupid kid and see what happens. I basically learned how to drive with my first yota, 22RE nice and slow! never saw me doin stuff like that. Its a shame to lose it but you know itds happened to a lot of us, i lost my first yota due to my own stupidity, I agree with mith, look at the fun u had before this and who knows what youll do with the next one!
