Correction Piston Intallation??

Hey guys, can you look at this pic and tell me if I got the pistons in right. Net images and the FSM are not clear.

L mark is for driver's side.
L mark goes to the tranny side of the motor
Thicker flat section of the piston faces upward, thinner flat strip faces down.

Thanks,

Badbob

Correct. As page EG2-110 of the 93 FSM shows quite clearly.

Thanks MudHippy.

Ya I got the FSM and was looking at the same pages. However, the FSM never defines the Right or Left side of the block. I just looked at the valves and realized on the Left side the Exhaust sits in front and the Right side the intake values sits in front. Still I was not sure about the actual top/bottom of each piston.
