Coolant Leak @ Air Pump

I haven't had the time this morning yet or the proper lighting to look at this but I popped the hood on my 90 Pickup 22R when I was filling up with gas and noticed coolant coming from one of the hoses that goes to the air pump. It wasn't a lot but it was enough that I noticed it. The gas station's lighting was crappy and I didn't have my flashlight to diagnose further. I'm hoping I can get out of my work early for lunch to take a deeper look but was wondering if anyone has had this before? My guess is that the intake manifold has a leak? I did check the coolant level and it wasn't low.

I'm just kind of freaked out because the truck is running great. I did a new head, chain and Weber carb a few years ago and all is has been well.

Thanks for any insight. I appreciate it.

I'm dealing with the same issue on my 1988 2wd 22r. It's a Cali emission truck so it has that smog pump(?) and ac. Needless to say there's 10 gallons of sh#% in a 5 gallon pail under the hood. Mine doesn't seem to be leaking consistently, only if it sits a couple of days or at start up? It is just a little leak as well, maybe a 2" diameter puddle. Seems to only leak when the motor is cold at start up. If I drive it every day it doesnt seem to leak on the ground.

Next to the starter is some sort of emission air valve(?). It is metal with a couple of small vacuum hoses and a larger hose. The starter is right next to it and makes it a pita to even get your hand on it or see it completely. It seems to be leaking from there as far as I can see, like some sort of internal diaphragm has failed and it is leaking through seam of the housing itself. I am going to have to yank the air cleaner and the starter to get a better look and have the ability to even get my hand up in that area. I have a 1985 fsm and it doesn't show the part I see under the hood of my '88.

Does antifreeze run through the smog pump system or is it a hose above that air (reed) valve. I'm baffled at this point.
My 4wd 87 isn't a Cali emissions truck and the 88 is new to me so I'm not familiar with the smog system yet. Hopefully we can figure this out.
