Im getting alot of axle bind and it occasionally locks up under slow speeds so im looking for a new one....

this guy on craigslist has an rear axle says its out of a 80's model 2WD automatic(claims 4:30) gears... will this fit/work under my truck? (i don't know the year or size engine yet... waiting for call back)

my truck: 1989 22re 4x4 excab 5sp. thanks

Where are you located? I have at least one of what you need in my garage.

4.30s are from trucks with automatic transmissions-only. Provided your axles haven't been messed with, you have 4.10s.

You can usually find what you're looking for well under $200, depending on where you live.
