Which coils are best on a 2nd gen?
Hey everyone. I'm a pretty new member, but I've read tons of useful stuff on this forum. I just bought my first Toyota, a 94 4runner. I want to correct the sagging rear and am lookinh for input on the best setup to use. It seems lots are using the Downey's, and the OME's. Has anyone tried the ALL PRO OFFROAD 1.5" coils? I'm looking for the most bang for my buck, and the most lift. I'm also wonder which shocks to use. Everybodies feedback is welcome, and please let me know how you like whatever setup you have.
Oh yeah, where are you getting these BJ spacers? I would like this mod instead of cranking Tbars. I'm also looking for a 1" body lift. Not so much for the lift because I don't want to go bigger than 32's or maybe 33's, but I need new body mounts anyway so whay not add an inch. I have seen 1" body lifts, but all I can find on the internet is 2" and 3". Who knows where to get the 1 inchers.

I used Eibach springs to fix the "ass sag". Kinda wish I had just gone with some 3" springs and BJ spacers at the same time, as I'm looking at rear spacers now...
Search fot the Landcruiser coils thread - that's the cheapest way to get rear lift.

The most lift and cheapest would be cruiser coils (91-96 I believe). They give you between 3" and 4". Next to them, OME would probably give the most lift, but I'm unsure about price. I believe Strap22 sells OME, so check with him.
BJ spacers....i think Strap22 and 4crawler carry them.
And bodylifts, 4crawler is the man to talk to about that too.

damn those lugs look agressive as hell! indeed they make the 31s look an inch bigger. any, back on topic, what else you running besides the OME coils?

Rocket, I think I like your opinion on option two. Slap on the 1" bod lift and I should be able to run 33x12.50's, huh? Sounds good, and the price is right. I was looking to keep things under $500. I was going to go with the Bil's, but I think the OME shocks will be a better choice for my application.

Option 2 is a great setup. I would also recommend the Downey Pan Hard bracket and the Downey rear lower control arm truss. Sonoran Steel also offer the truss and it is a real heavy duty one and I think he makes a longer Pan Hard bar. Do a search for them and you will see they are must haves.

Yup, already looking in to man hubs. I already have two torn CV boots, and don't want any more. Warns are the popular mainstream, but Milemarker seems comparable in workmanship and quality.. and they're half the price. Anyone using Milemarker Hubs? How hard is the ADD-to-Man conversion?

How essential is that panhard bracket if I only run 32's? I don't really do any "Hardcore" offroading these days. But if that's all that stand between 32's and 33's, I may get one. However, I am trying to keep costs low at the moment. Downey is updating all their pricing right now. Anyone know the cost of a new panhard bracket?
