wellllll

i currently have those springs on my truck but i think im using it in a different way. i have it going over the shock but the problem is the spring it self is not long enough to even touch the top and bottom, so my friend had some left over fake coil over sleaves and i just use the adjustment part and that fixed the gap but the spring is really that not stiff how im using it, and also my truck is the opposite compaired to you guys the truck is lowered 3 inches on tociko shocks.

Every booster setup I've tried doesn't work due to the large spacing between the coils on our trucks. I made a couple boosters myself that'd put 3" between the coils, and it didn't do squat. The rest of the coil just collapsed more.

Air Lift has an airbag setup for 2nd Gen Runner's that I'm going to try. Part number for it is 60812. JC used to carry it, but they show it's not available anymore (doubt it). Just need to find a supplier.

Edit: Just found it on Jegs.com . I've double checked the part number at airlift.com, and 60812 is correct. JC is now listing the 2000 kit for leaf-sprung vehicles as the correct unit for the 4Runner. WTF?

The air bags are a pretty cool idea, but I think the best fix still is just putting new coils in. Something about me just doesn't trust the air bags. It would be cool to have the softer ride when I wasn't towing and then stiffen it up for towing and the beach when I needed it.

Does anybody know how stiff new coils make the rear?

93toyrunner...I thought you were gonna go with the Moogs?

I am going with the moogs I am getting them from O'Reilly but I am also putting new shocks on right away and when I was online looking at shocks, and I saw those boosters and and I thought that might be an ok backup to help my new moogs and shocks last longer.

You might make that thing a back breaker with the new Moogs, the new shocks and the boosters, it will be plenty stiff with just the new coils and shocks.

What shocks are you gonna go with, I was thinking Bilstein's for mine, but not sure yet.
