i've done some searches on it and alls i can come up with is an adjustment of the tps and the VSV, i'm not really too sure what the vsv is. This is for a 95 22re with california emissions. Let me describe what is happening, i originally had 2 codes, one for an oxygen sensor and one for the egr malfunction, i replaced the o2 sensor and cleared the code, 1 code (71) reappeared within about 100 miles and stays on all the time, i have since recleared it and await its return lol. All the vacuum lines seem to be in order. I'm wondering what i should do first that wont cost anything, thanks for all your help in advance

well i think i figured it out, lets keep our fingers crossed, i cleared the code the first time and it came back within 40 miles, so i decided to take the modulator off for watever reason, lets just call it a funny feeling about it, well i took it off and saw that there were 4 spots for vacuum lines, but i only removed 3. so i searched for that 4th and it was kinda buried on the manifold. reconnected it and reset the code, its been about 120 miles, we'll just see what happens, so thats the tip for today check vacuum lines before spending cash!!!!!!!!
