I think this just about "takes the cake" for the least well-thought-out question possible.

Guessing that it's a Toyota Truck or 4Runner (who knows?), code 22:
"Open or short in engine coolant temp. sensor circuit for 0.5 sec. or more. (THW)"

^ He'll get there but you are right. Some members have a problem listing the year, model, Engine/Trans in their questions.

All Toyota's are the same right???

"Hi. My car isn't running right. I'm not sure what kind it is. I think it's a chevy. It just feels weird, like something's not right.

How much is that going to cost me?"

^actual phone call^

At least you know what trouble codes are, and that they mean things. Puts you ahead of many, believe me.

But yeah, we do need year, model, engine size, trans type, drivetrain. Then we got your stuff.

Dude... More info. Haha

Anyway, took a peek at your other posts and it looks like you have a 3.0.

I googled 3vze code 22 and found this for you.

89 3.0 pick up, blue, 4 wheels, 2 doors, windshield, tail gate. Since I posted in the correct section I assumed some intelligence would come thru on the other end. Smart ass comments help no one just take away from the legitamisy of the site. New engine just fired. New sender with the green connection but not single prong.

So, why did you quote me, I thought my comment was the least smart-assy?

You're right, they just help no one. Including yourself.
And you STILL missed transmission type and drivetrain.

One more try?

Getting your panties in a wad won't help yourself either. This site isn't a bunch of Toyota technicians waiting to help people that ask "where do I start". We are everyday people.

This statement seems...incomplete. Did you jump a relay? To check correct what? Which relay?

Very true, and I get tired of seeing them around here!

The only thing worse then getting a smart ass reply is not getting enough info from someone who expects to get a serious answer to a half assed question.
