clutch/tranny/ shifting questions.

Some questions I'm curious about regarding my '90 22R PU/ 4spd/2wd

1.) When the clutch is starting to go, it will slip right?

2.) Under what circumstances/ conditions would the clutch lock up?

3.) Is it bad for the tranny to shift without the clutch? (I do it sometimes-I know what speeds I can put in which gears without any hesitation/ grinding, they slide right in, & I often pop it out of gear while decelerating without getting any hesitation/ grinding)

Thanks!

if the clutch is going it tends to not grab as much when trying to start from a dead stop, and if its really bad itll slip with higher rpms and load, such as going up a hill or something

It slips a little when you floor it or when you give it too many RPM's uphill. How much longer do you think I have 'till it's not driveable?

Yoterr- do you have any answers for my other questions? You sound much more technically skilled than me!
