i have the same issue i didnt know GL-5 can cause an issue i will be checking to see if thats what i put in.

also my seat and bushing seem to be shot as there is lots of play in all gear and a significant amount in 5th and reverse. i will replace them aswell as the gear oil if it is GL-5. and let you know.

Did you double check the clutch fork while it was out? My friend had a similar problem and replaced everything. Then we noticed a tiny crack in the clutch fork. It was letting the end of the fork flex enough that it wasn't moving the fork that much.

no i replace the fluid with the right transmission fluid now it works like a hot damn now i just need to replace that bushing where my stick shift goes in to the tranny
