Just curious what the new cost of this part is??
I priced one two years ago...$280 CDN (about $250 US) and wound up welding it.

I know exactly whats wrong. I had the same problem. Behind the pedals there is a chrome colored bracket. check to see if it is torn, if so drill a hole through it and bolt it back to the firewall.
