Cluster just broke!
How much trouble is it to swap out. Also is it worth the extra $$ to swap to the sr5 with tach. Is the wiring already in place?
I have a 88 standard cab 2wd.
Just got the thing in dec. with 428k on it. Do you think the cluster is covered by warranty? LOL..
I do enjoying the 28 mpg's thou.

How broke is broke?
There are lots of threads on it with tips and tricks photos. As for extra cash it depends where you source it from, the local salvage yards don't charge "per guage" unless you buy them one at a time. So the only extra expense is the sending unit. The plug&play wiring is kind of hit or miss, but nothing you can't handle adding if you can get the dash apart.
