clarification please
so...im getting new shoes for the 93 runner! heres the thing somewhere i read a thread about 16x7 factory rims ( say from a 96 97 98 ) sometimes touch the brake caliper now im tring to find the thread but im having trouble... anyway i would like to move up to 16s i was trying to stick with factory wheels i can get 16x7 factory wheels off a newer runner for next to nothing thats why im asking otherwise id just get 15x8 or 16x7 aftermarket
does anyone have any experience with this ?

I guess it depends on the wheel,
But I had to do some trimming to the plastic center cap for them to fit over my ADD Hubs. These were Tundra wheels.

Since the trimming, the gray paint has flaked away from around the holes I trimmed. Looks kinda crappy, actually. I wish I would have kept my original Enkie wheels, but finding center caps for them proved impossible.
Plus, these Tundra wheels and BFG's were brand new take-offs, and I picked 'em up for $350. After 20K miles, no noticable wear.
