clanking?
first look at the cardan joint on the front driveshaft (the joint closest to the transfer case) and see if it's hitting the skidplate.

what would cause that just a bent skid right? When i noticed it i was on the throttle pretty hard and the truck started to hop so i backed off...... Its a clanking you hear and you feel something a bump.....and obviously the faster the worse it gets.....

There is often a little piece of metal bolted to the transfer case crossmember that is easily bent up into the front driveshaft. First time mine bent, it rubbed on the front shaft in 4WD. Easy fix was to remove the two bolts holding it on and get rid of the bent piece.

Well i just got it off the lift and found nothing but a fuel leak....so i took care of that.....I put it in 4wd and spun the driveshaft manually nothing no noise at all so its got to be when the truck is under a load nothing was touching the shaft either.... Im thinking front diff now
