Checking In

Its been awhile since I posted, so here's an update

I have a 94 toyota pickup 4x4 extra cab with a 22re. To date I have a set of headers and a 2.25 inch exhaust. I am in the midst of a chevy spring swap, installing rocksliders, and going to a 16in rim size. I have fabbed up high clearance rear bumper and my mileage varies from 24mpg to 19 as a low. Depending on driving habits and air pressure in the tires.

I'm still looking for a lil extra out of the 22re. But a ton of the stuff out there is out of my budget. I really only need the extra power when passing and getting on the freeway. So Im leaning towards N2O as a solution.

All that said I am debating on keeping the overload leafs on the chevy springs. The truck is full bodied, and does see occasional loads; most under 500lbs, but I have had 1000lbs on it once or twice.

Thoughts and opinions much appreciated.

You want to put NOS on a 22re so you can pass and get on the freeway faster?

That sounds like a great idea.

I know there a few nitrous threads on here. I just need to save up some cash.

But people here in El Paso like to pull on you when you pass them, especially it seems when its a yota.

Do you have larger than stock tires?
