Check engine light
So my check engine light came on my truck today, have only had the truck for about 2 weeks.
It's a 93 pick up 3.0 4x4. And the check engine light came on on the freeway. The truck still drives great idles perfectly, and runs like a top. Not sure what it is. I herd that you can diagnose the check engine light with paper clips? How do I do that? Or should I just buy a ODB 1 code reader?

Here's the section from the actual manual: http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-b...85diagnosi.pdf
If your CEL is blinking without pause about twice per second, you have no stored codes. You might have lost the code stored when your CEL came on if the battery got disconnected (or the EFI fuse pulled).
