Cheap 95 4Runner Modifications?

So I recently got a 95 4Runner 4WD 5 Speed SR5 and I was wondering about some cheap mods for performance? I was thinking about doing K&N Air Filter but IDK which one is good or the best for a 95. Thanks!

Nothing cheap will really make any gains in performance with these engines.

Use the 500 to catch up on normal maintenance items

Unless you have documentation that it was done fairly recent, a good tune up should wake it up a bit.

Its pretty wide open.. are you doing something to make the truck stand out? Lift? Speed? Money just burning a hole in your pocket?

What engine do you have? Spend some time looking around the forums, checking out peoples build threads, get some ideas from what others are doing.

A new (or used) set of rims/tires can do a lot for the look of a truck.

Hows the fluids in the truck look? Diffs/ tranny fluid too. Ball joints and steering ends all tight?

Pass on the K&N. not worth the $$.

I believe there is a "cheap mod" thread some where here on the YT.

Alright man, I know for a fact that I need a new radio, cb, and antenna and I could use tires so I think I will just do that.
