Charcoal canister making really weird noises...
Yeah, it sounds like there are small animals trying to escape from my charcoal canister. Really weird. Kind of like a scratching noise. It will happen for hours after my engine has been shut off.
Any ideas on what it could be?

It's normal... It comes from the build up of pressure in the fuel tank.
If it really bothers you, or you just wanna test the concept
, crack open the gas cap to let the pressure equalize... the wheezing will stop.
I think there's a TSB (technical service bulletin) on it... There's a replacement EVAP tank, but it's not free.

It seems lately I'm trying to find things that are wrong with my truck so I can fix them. No luck so far. But hey, thats a good thing right? Haha.
