Center pin crap!!!
HOW THE HECK DO YOU GET THE CENTER PIN OUT OF THE REAR LEAFS ON A IFS PICKUP!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?....
i have a set of used springs here at the house..and i was gonna take my 2 packs and the 2 spare packs and combine them..switch em around..all that..try to get a little lift and softer ride out of it..anybody have any wisdom to shed on that idea????
my rear end rides HORRIBLE..its ROUGH!!..so i thought about mixing leafs..but i wouldnt even know where to begin..lol

Grab the head (bottom) with vice grips and put an air gun/socket on the nut. Should come right off. If not cut it off and make another center pin out of another bolt. Just round the head to fit into the hole in the spring perch with a bench grinder.
I like to clamp the spring pack together or put it in the vise before removing the pin.

yes i've tried using a set of REALLY big vice grips..and a 3/4in impact..(snap-on..EXTREMELY powerfull)..and it didnt do ANYTHING TO IT..i hammered at it with the impact and it never budged..lol

I find that a shot of good penetrating oil (PB Blaster or Kroil) and then a shot of heat from a propane torch works wonders. Just used that on a rusted in place brake line fitting and after letting the Kroil soak in a little then heated it until it bubbled up out of the threads, the fitting came right out with no damage.
