getting some pics now I dont have the antenna and such installed yet... I cant get the damned tailgate to go down.

Finally got the damned tail gate down... oh my god this thing sucks. lol :/ everything is good to go, except for the fact I haven't wired it to my battery yet. but everything besides that looks great. Pictures definitely tomorrow.

that's fine. we dont need pictures of the install. I didn't really plan on doing a write up. haha. so the conclusion is all that matters right now... be sure to put the pictures you took on your photobucket so I can grab them off and share them here.

I used to have that same one too lol, its an alright deck , my current one in my sig is better haha.

yeah its just a 4' firestik. also, Look at your mount. you have yours upside down... heh and plus I mounted mine above my tail light

It was actually really easy to install. I pulled all the panels off on the passenger side leaning to the back of the truck. and ran the antenna wire through. and to install the radio I pulled apart the lower part of my dash and cut out the plastic required to fit the box and just velcro'd it up

A choke on the 12v to the CB should help that. Radio Shack sells those.

Finally got my CB radio functional! but its only usable up to a good 50 feet? anybody got any ideas? maybe i tuned it wrong i dont know... but I finally got to hear my voice through my brother's new CB haha.

Nice install, quick question did you have to buy extra antenna wire? How much wire/cable does the antenna or CB come with?
