catalitic converter replacement pipe
anyone know where i can get a catalitic converter replacment pipe i want to get rid of my cat and just want a straight pipe in there, i thought downey sold one but i cant find it on their site.

Any muffler shop should be able to take care of you, I'd just keep it though.

Most muffler shops won't remove a cat for you or rig up a test pipe, doing so would subject them to thousands of dollars in fines.

Yeah but they can sell you a piece of pipe. Cut the flanges off the cat, weld them on to the pipe, bolt in.

Like I said though, I'd keep it. My Tahoe's exhaust smells terrible with the cat removed.

The insides of my cat were coming loose so i just took if off and knocked everything out of it and bolted it back up.
