Carpet Kits

Interested in replacing the carpets in my 1990 T4r w/ auto trans 4x4. Found kits by ACC but appears customer reviews are not that favorable. Came across Automotive Interior and wonder if anyone is familiar with their kits, or suggest an alternative?.

Comments/Suggestions appreciated!!

I have ACC in mine and can attest it isn't great. Fitment is pretty garbage on it. It does look and feel nice though. It's a decent carpet if you just want something down.

I have ACC also. Meh.
!) fit is so-so. You have to do A LOT of your own trimming
2) carpet quality is just ok. But I didn't get the "premium"

If someone found a better option please post up

Was checking out the website you posted and it eludes to the fact they they use ACC carpets. Wonder if they are a subsidiary of ACC.

When I was looking I found several companies offering carpet, but it seemed like most were just third part vendors all getting their product from the same source. At that point you just look the one willing to cut their prices the most. But a better quality product would be nice to find.

Appreciate the comments and suggestions.

Intend researching and yes it appears ACC is affiliated w/ a number of automotive carpet and upholstery suppliers. Seems the cost for a complete set thru Automotive Interior is considerably cheaper than ACC, not sure if it is a good thing and worth the risk?

I purchased carpet and seat material from ACC over 15 years ago and had shop install in my early model mid 60 vehicle and at the time found their customer support very helpful, the material has held up well considering the abuse; not sure how it will come out as a 'do it myselfer'?

I thank U all for the input!!.

As I have been cyber shopping noticed majority of the carpet kit suppliers have the same menu in selecting a particular package to include the same carpet color code numbers?? I will likely go with ACC even though their prices are a bit more expensive than others???

It looks like no matter where you buy from you' end up with ACC. So just find the vendor that's dumping the price the most.
It's a decent sized box, so free shipping is something to factor in. Maybe some will omit tax if out of state.

You can get free samples, or at least I did. If you're going with a color that has multiple shades it would be worth doing

I have seen a replacement carpet made by Lund. reading the reviews(a mixed bag like ACC) they seem to be of similar construction and require they same amount of cutting to install as ACC.

Some packages don’t include the carpet for the back of the rear seats or the bed area.
