camshaft 22r

Engnbdlr camshaft 270, cannot be adjusted as in fsm. Tod says each lobe needs to point straight down to head. Doesn't work. Its so far off it'll click like crazy. Each lobe is different you need to find the lowest point of the base circle of each lobe, and it still won't run right sounds like it's running on 3 cylinders. It's been nothing but trouble. I'm getting rid of this camshaft! My engine is new. Eb rv head over size valves. New timing chain, metal guides, new rocker arms and shafts, oil pump, water pump. Has anyone one else have this problem?

I also had all sorts of trouble with an engnbldr cam when I was building my engine. The top of each lobe had a huge flat spot in it and wasnt round at all. I ended up just sending it back and buying a comp cam that I have been very happy with.
