cams

I have a 3vze v6 and i need to know if the cams are hydraulic or mechanical. and i need to know the lift and duration of the stock cams. does anyone know? thanks

What is a hydraulic cam?!

I think you are refering to lifters, which the 3VZ does not have. In a SOHC engine, the cams press directly on the valves (or in Toyotas case the shim buckets which are on top of the valves) but does not have lifters or pushrods.

As for duration and lift...i dunno.
