cam install 22re

ive been searching on here and couldnt quite find what i was looking for....

im sick of my 22re being so damn slow so im going to do intake, header, cam, and exhaust.

my question is: has anyone installed a cam on this themselves? and if so how long did it take and how hard was it? i hjave a broken valve spring so im gonna be in there replacing that, so it may just be easier then paying someone to do it.

and my other question is if anyone has paid to get it done, around what does it cost?

i appreiciate your time, thanks
-chris

Very easy to do. But all your mods are not going to net you a whole lotta gain. ITS A 4 BANGER. :pat:

i beg to differ...

a cam will give you your power in a more useful range, and if you rebuild your engine right, do the and open up the exhaust, with larger valves, 150hp is not too hard to get on one of these engines.
