A/C Install help 1st gen 4runner

I'm installing a factory a/c system in my 89 4runner and so far I have the evaporator unit in place but I can't find where one connector coming from the a/c amplifier goes. The a/c amplifier splits and 2 connectors go into the evaporator housing, one goes to the fan housing but I can't figure where the 4th one plugs into...it is a 4 wire plug next to my thumb in the photo. The amplifier plug is by my other fingers. The other plug next to the amplifier plug is for the ac switch. Anyone know where this plug goes to? Or can someone pull their glovebox off and see where this plug goes? Thanks.
ps my rig is a 22re

I'm not sure how much help this is but when I just did mine my mechanic called me and said I was missing a harness, so I went back to the yard and they gave me a harness that looked like that one so mayby there is a piece that that plugs into and then that plugs into the unit if that makes sense I'm getting an alignment this second but when I get home I will give it a look see and see if I can help ya out.
I can also call my guy and ask him he will be able to tell me for sure let me get back to the house and I will post ASAP, you doing this as we speak??

Thanks for the reply...yes, I'm working on it right now.
I found another plug right there that has the same 4 wires (1 blue, 1 black, 1 black with yellow, and 1 black with red) plus 1 extra wire (black with white) but it is a different shaped plug. Even though it is a different shaped plug 4 of the wires match color so I'm *almost* positive this would be the plug and that this may be a year of manufacture change? The parts I have were pulled from an 87 and mine is an 89. I have the toyota factory repair manual for my 89 and it does show a 6 prong plug(with only five wires).

The reason I said I'm almost positive above is I did a continuity test on the wire coming from the A/C compressor magnetic clutch with the wire on the plug inside the cab and it is open. The wire on the a/c compressor is blue with black stripe and inside the cab it is solid blue so it is not the exact same wire but my manual shows that it should be.

This is frustrating.

Thanks Discombobulated. I figured out the problem I think. It is a year/model change. I found an online manual for an 88 and it had an option for the 22r engine which only had the 4 pin plug like my a/c setup came with. The 22re engines have 2 different harnesses with a 6 pin plug. The 2 versions are with and without tow package options so now I need to find the correct harness and I suppose a different a/c amplifier as well.

Hmmmmm I tried to call my mechanic he's on a test drive but for some reason I think the setup I got was from an 88 and he needed some kinda harness to make it work not sure if this is what you need though. Did you get a used compressor??

Yes...it was all used.

After studying the 2 different wiring diagrams I think I can modify the harness I have if I can't find an original...it seems to be a fairly simple change. Just need to go to a junkyard and find and clip a matching 6 pin female connector off another toyota.

Just as an FYI when I did this conversion I went through 5 compressors that were all worn chances are unless you were real lucky your clutch might be gone, you might check this before charging otherwise you will be charging and having to purge to swap. I bit the bullet and got a reman from advanced for 250. I didn't want to spend the money but they don't make clutch rebuild kits anymore, when I got it all together the first time it worked but it makes a horrendous noise when your ac is off due to the metal on metal when the clutch is not engaged. If you have the loot I would recommend a new compressor unless you are positive it will work.
