Ok I've searched the forums but still need some help. I'm trying to mount an old smittybilt bumper on my 89 runner. Need pics of the mounting brackets so I can have some made. I know a lot of people dislike this bumper, but its decent for me. I don't have money to throw around like others so I can't get a higher end one. Plus I like the old look. Any pics of how this is mounted would be appreciated. Please avoid telling my all the negatives about it because its not helpful. Mines not rusted at all or gonna be used for pulling random things.

 

I would venture to ask Since Smitty Built Built bumpers pretty long .

Just which one do you have? From the seventies ?? eighties ?? For the Solid front axle or do you have one for the IFS The SFA and The IFS are different.

You have the bumper you have the truck Correct??

Tape measure and tablet and a Big Black crayon are your friends.

You pretty much need to build the brackets with the bumper setting just where you want it.

So things can be adjusted if you don`t like the way things fit.

Just have who you have making the brackets just figure out how to mount the bumper.
