bumper help

well im gettin kinda itchy to buy something for the truck, so im thinking about goin with a front bumper...i love the ARB look, but not the price tag...its doubtful that i will ever have a winch. im not particular on tub style, and im looking for it to be functional, rather then just something to look at. any ideas on a quality bumper, similar to ARB, but without the price... i dont think id be willing to go about 400 bucks

I picked up my used ARB for $400 even. I found it on Craigslist. If you're not in a hurry it might be worth waiting for used steel. If you do go used try and get all the hardware you can that goes to the new bumper. Those metric bolts and nuts can add up in cost. On my 2nd gen 4Runner it would have been worth trying to soak penetrating oil on the bolts. One bolt on each side sheared when I was removing the stock bumper. It wasn’t a problem since I didn’t want to put the stock back on but it still would have been nice to give the next guy all the hardware.

If you want a Quality and Functional bumper at a $400~ price tag then get a tube bumper. Theres no other options unless you can build your own. Where do you live?

Take a look at some of these choices...

Then finding a local off road fab shop, or one of these two places would be your best option(s)...
