Broken exhaust

I have an 87, auto, 22re 4runner. I was driving home from work today and I heard a loud bang and my exhaust tone got instantly louder. I got home and dicovered that my exhaust broke just before my magnaflow muffler where I welded it on (luckely my muffler was still haning on by the hangers). Is there any way to get a new section between the cat and muffler remade, but still retain it bolt-on to the cat? I don't want to just weld it back on becasue obviously the stock piping is corroded and don't want to risk it breaking again. And I'd like to keep it bolt on so down the line I can replace my cat quickly when I have the money. Thanks for your help.

Cut your pipe at the cat mounts and maybe 2 ft up and weld a new chunk in.

Yea just get a chunk the length you need and simply cut the flange off the old pipe and weld it on the new pipe. Very easy fix.
