Broke bvsv valve now what?
After my head gasket rebuild I broke the bvsv valve but super glued it back together then covered it with gasket sealer and connected the vacuum hoses and drove the truck to and from work all week.Seemed fine but last night looking in my fsm I noticed I had the vacuum lines on reverse, the charcoal line was on the bottom bvsv hole instead of the top.Although it seemed to run fine all week like 250 miles,I couldnt leave well enough alone so tried to reverse the vacuum hoses by reaching my fingers down between the phlenum and the firewall and broke the top off the bvsv valve again. In order to retemporarilly fix it I will have to remove the phlenum again(PITA) I will if I have to.Can I just bypass the valve and connect the two vacuum hoses together? Will it run OK?Ineed to have this thing running by monday to get to work I cant take more time off and its a dealer part that will take a week to get here.Plus the reason I didnt already order it is Im so broke I cant pay attention.I took a week off to do the head gasket job. Will bypassing it work? Will it run OK?Or at all? Will I do more damage?

For future referance
I refixed (temporarily) the bvsv valve by using the super glue, gasket sealer technique.Called the dealer, gonna cost $150 for new one.I'll get one this week. Also the dealer tech said if it rebreaks should just run little crappy but no damage to truck, also said CEL would come on.(see my newer post)

A week ago I gave you the correct name for the part, a drawing of it, and where to buy it for $48 (plus shipping). https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116.../#post51938936
You certainly don't need to follow my advice, but there isn't much point to asking questions if you don't pay any attention to the answers.
PS: There is no code for the canister. The truck won't run right, and it will smell like gasoline, but the CEL won't come on as a result. Since you have the manual, when the "dealer tech" tells you the CEL would come on, you might ask if he knows what code it will throw ....
