well its now official...just found out that a young friend of mine has recently purchased his first toyota...a gorgeous white 86 4runner with the 22ret...not a spec of rust or bubbled paint anywhere...two door with the removable hard top...sr5 so its got the power windows and locks and all that jazz...only thing is that its an auto but thats what he wanted b/c he has a fairly long commute everyday that has its fair share of stop and go to it...interior is in good shape and its got the smittybuilt tube bumpers front and rear...the wheels are the four spoke sr5 alloys...already got a cb and cd player put in it...truck only has 130,000 miles on it...with receipts for the complete rebuild to the engine and turbo that was done at 100,000 miles....bought the truck out in dallas...think that might be part of the reason its entirely rust free...needless to say im quite proud of him...sorry about the long post..
