I have a question too
what kind of rotors do you need when running the ceramic pads for low dust?
do they too need to be a match set or does it not matter?

Over the last 15+ yrs I think I've tried all of them (with the exception of the uber high dollar aftermarket stuff (brembo & the like.)

Factory Toyota pads last the longest, stop the best and leave the least amount of crud on the wheels.

Aftermarket rotors seem to perform as well as Factory.
Aftermarket calipers don't last as long (they corrode faster, then the pistons don't move freely), but are so much less expensive that you could replace them 4 times and still be ahead.

I'd like to try some of the crossdrilled and slotted rotors, but the price is pretty high and there's a lot of debate as to it's value.

Factory Toy for pads and local auto parts store for rotors and calipers.
