Brakes locked up - what to check?

Brakes locked up - what to check?
Put a whole new brake system on my truck - master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders, lines, drums, rotors.
Took it for a drive and the brakes pump up to the point where they eventually pretty much are locked up. 1st gear strains to get the truck rolling after a few minutes of driving and braking.
What should I check first? I'm going to start with a bleed. Could it be a faulty master cylinder? Contamination in the lines blocking things up? Thoughts?

see if you can narrow it down to only one wheel. if you can't, i.e. all 4 are locking, or say both front or both rear, I'd be checking the mc.
if you get it down to one wheel, check there.

make sure u didnt overfill the master cylinder, also check the brke pedal height make sure the rod that hooks to the pedal assembly isnt adjusted to the point its not releasing the brakes, it should have some free play. are all 4 wheels locking up?
