Brake pads - Long vs short bed

I am needing some front brake pads for my Pickup and was wondering if there is any difference between the short and long bed pads. I'm honestly not sure which I have and if there's no difference then I'll just go with the brand I prefer.

Sorry not sure. I would expect they are the same, it's only a long bed not a cargo capacity difference isn't it?

You can probably do the swap in thier parking lot. Some places even have an, out of the main traffic, area set aside for on the spot installs of non-messy stuff.

*EDIT* Oh yeah, measure the bed and it'll be obvious. around 76 inch is the short bed. Long bed is a full 8 foot(96 inch?)

The front brake pads are determined by just which calipers your running .

So many of these Trucks end up with brake upgrades and down grades your best bet is to pull them off and take them along to match up.

Then decide if you need rotors as well.

There's no difference. Some websites ask for unnecessary details for certain items. You'll be fine with the 4cyl pads.. but fyi short beds are 6ft, long are 7 and have a 17 gallon fuel tank

There are three truck frames listed in the 93 FSM, short, long, and super long.
using the measurments between bed mounting holes fore-most and aft-most, 64", 70" and 94", rounded off of course. The 88 fsm has the 4 runner rear deck dimensions, but both are lacking the truck bed, was a bit disappointed with that since mines not exactly straight.

Thanks for the info, judging from the fuel tank info I know now that I don't have a long bed.

Love Yotatech, thanks fellas!
