Brake m/c swap, need help!!

Exclamation Brake m/c swap, need help!!

well im swapping out my stock m/c for a 1" bore, and the original has a sensor on the cap. the one im trying to swap has a plug in the m/c itself and it doesn't fit. what is this sensor for? and what can i do about this, can you just not run it? what have you guys fone? thanks

its for a low fluid level idiot light on the dash.

I would leave it off and just tape the pigtail up so as not to be butchered. Or you could just get the pigtail off the donor truck and splice that in.

thats what i thought it was for,thanks skypilot,but if i leave it unplugged is that going to make the light stay on? if so i may just cut it and hard wire it.
