Brake Bias question

my front brakes tend to lock up very easily. under normal braking if i am not careful they will lock and slide. i had to stop quickly one day and the front brakes locked, but my rear wheels were still rolling. no matter how hard i pushed the brakes the back wheels didnt even slow down. are my rear drums out, or is there some kind of presure adjustment i can do?

P.S.- when the ebrake is engaged and the tranny is in neutral i can push the truck easily.

No matter what, your front brakes should always lock up before your rears. Rears locking first means rotation.

Adjust the cage clearance on your drum brakes. The pads should be 0.6mm or 0.024" away from your drum. Adjust them manually to check if the problem goes away then find out why they are not adjusted properly.

Locking the rear and wet roads make for fun panic stops. I've been fiddling with the LSPV, but the rear on mine still locks rather easily.

Misadjusted Drums most likely. Or you need new shoes/drums.
