Blower Motor Resistor

Does anyone know if a BMR from a 1994 P/U will work in a 1991 P/U. I am asking because a friend has a 94 Parts Truck that I have the BMR out of, and was hoping to save $45.00 on it.

I took the BMR out of a different year model and it works but is backwards. Low is high and high is low. Should be no problem as long as they look the same.

$45.00?

I bought one at the dealer for $11.00 for my 87.

I would think same generation trucks would use the same parts.

I was actually quoted over $200 (canadian) at my local dealer. A used one cost me 20. That was for a 94 SR5

I called my local dealer yesterday and they qouted me $44.58. I thought I might try to save a few bucks by getting the donor since money is tight right now.

Update, 94 BMR will not work in 91. Mounting flange in 94 is larger. Oh well looks like I will be going to the dealer.

I looked, didnt see one for 22, but seen one for 32, which is better than 45! Does anyone know anything about toyotapartscheap.com? They have a BMR listed for 16.
