Unhappy Blew up another 3vze

My first 3vze had 338,000km but due to a leaky radiator I cooked it, burnt a valve and did a swap for a 'newer' 3vze. Did a good tear down and replaced all seals and basically anything that bolted to the block/heads. Now this 'new' engine, with 180,000km decided to go BANG and now there is coolant/maybe oil, all over the back of my block. WTH?!?! Did I blow a HG? I'm kinda pissed, it is midnight and I have no pictures but tomorrow is another day and I can get them up then.

I have been looking at HG and frost plugs too but to no real avail. Many stories of replacing leaky/weepy plugs but anyone got a story of a plug blowing out on you while driving? P.S. I was accelerating up a hill and double clutched when it went BANG

......I'm going to stick with my GS-R if this keeps up.....

way ahead of you...

We were a wiring harness away and then the company that sold a complete kit went under. I also do not have the time to rebuild a harness myself, nor do i want to sink more money into the truck. especially when every 4x4 trail i know of is getting shut down. I will beable to figure out if its a HG or a plug tomorrow morning. Im basically currious if anyone has had a plug shoot out while driving.

I had a freeze plug shoot out on me a few years ago on my 94 when it was around 160k, there are freeze plugs in the v tunnel of the engine that can leak down the back and there are also plugs on the back of the heads. The one that burst on mine was the driver side front one on the side of the block closest to the front
