blew a tire on I-5 today

I was driving to seattle today to sell a generator. So i was cruzin down I-5 when i noticed my tires making a roar so i slowed down to get off at the next exit and next thing i know my rear passenger tire shredded. And to top everything off no spare

So after getting my yota safely home. i have decided to buy new tires and
wheels.

les shwabby quoted me $1700 for 15x8 wheels and some 33x12.50x15 toyo mud terrian. sounds like a really nice tire

discount tire quoted me $1300 for the same wheels with 33x12.50x15 goodyear dura trec or something like that.

so what do you guys thing for a good 33?

33x10.5 is a better tire for your truck. the 33x12.5 is too wide, will wear out parts much faster and will give less traction.

33x10.5 KM2 ... I ran em for i dunno month or two dont remember now before my balls dropped and got some 37 mtrs.

KM2 and MTR are my two personal fav tires. When the MTR's go Ill be swapping to a 17" wheel and runn'n 37 KM2s. AWESOME TIRE. Onroad and OFF.

700 bones will get you a set of 4 from 4wheelparts, atleast it did a year ago. Wheels? Les Schwab is a scam, thats one company i wouldnt mind seeing go belly up. Bunch of greedy crooks who treat their employee's like dirt

anyhoo

I would get a 10.5 tire to save the wear on the parts. The only reason why I would get a wider tire would be if I plaid in the sand.
