I am bummed out that there are only a few more posts in this threads future.
It's been a real pleasure seeing your progress, how your ADD effects a rebuild, and having a great laugh all at the same time.
Thanks for the well documented tech, great pics, all the amusement and the flat out gut laughs I've had during your ordeal. Gonna miss this thread.
Good luck on that new motor. I'm sure we'll get a couple reports on it in the future.
Phil

ah, fine, here they are

and the red skidplate

look at how bad the alignment is after the front end mods, lmao. I drove it down to the shop that did the initial alignment since it's still under warantee
but I got there too late in the day, so I'll have to take it tomorrow to get it dialed in
One little issue I've found is the clearance for the header and the Rancho control arms. At full compression, the t-bar to control arm mounting flange actually comes in contact with the header! I might have to do a little hammering on the header to get things to move without hitting

Also, just as I got back from the first test drive down to the gas station, my 4Crawler sway bar drop showed up already, so I bolted that up too

So, who wants to hear her purr

Don't mind the water coming out of the exhaust; it's just trapped water from the muffler that made it's was in from pressure washing the engine bay
I specifially remember shooting a jet of water directly into the open pipe on accident, lol. It's not doing that any more; at first my father got all concerned, thinking it might be a faulty head gasket or something, lol

Looking good!
You should have seen the time I lost a TB gasket(that seals coolant on one side) on a 5.0 Mustang I used to have. Once I got it fixed, I throttled it down the road really good and left two very wet 100ft stripes behind.
Lucky I didn't hydrolock the engine....

omg, freek'n amazing!
and it's no even dialed in yet!
just have the timing set at 12 degree, and slighty adjusted the AFM. I'm going to run it as is, take it to work monday, and monday afternoon readjust the valves, and dial in the settings with everything like the timing and such
but as it stands with now, I can DEFINATELY feel the torque; it accelerates VERY smooth, through every gear, even 5th no problem!
thanks for all the positive responces guys
it feels really good to get this long awaited job done, and for it to be appreciated too
