blacking out wheels on 95 4runner

two different kind of tires eh?
looks like you need another coat/can
also i find its much easier if you get the rim/tire off the truck and use electrical vinyl tape for a nice clean line
that way you dont have overspray on your rotors or drums

did you paint them while they were still on the truck? the back I wouldn't worry too much about having drum brakes, but you may want to try to put something there to block the paint from the rotor, or at least take the tire off the front befor painting them... not sure how much harm it would do to the brakes, but it can't be good...

Good choice in wheel paint. I used Duplicolors flat black on mine with their SUV clearcoat.
Looks like you need (like mentioned) another coat or two to get a more even finish. And the cap!
Next time remove the wheels from the vehicle. Paint is not good for brake pads....

one trick i saw done is of you wanna get a set of rims to look really hot is before tape and everything is you tape off parts of the rim so when you paint it and peel off the tape you get the bright silver finish on it as well then you clear coat the puppy(not your dog the rim you have in your mind)
