The truck leveled out nicely! Looks sweet. Are those Goodyear Authority tires you have on there?\

thanks....yes they are Goodyear Authority 31x10.5 r15...
(walmart specials).....It kinda worries me about the u.c.a being that close to the tire,i think im going to grind the lip of the control arm off nice and smooth..

I wouldn't worry about grinding it down, because if that ever does hit the tire you have other issues to worry about then it hitting the tire.

well after spending allnight reading post/threads on "drive way wheel alignment..."i decided to go at it....

1st step...drink coffee, and stair at the front end thinking what the hell am i about to do....
ok...made sure she was on level ground and the sterring wheel was straight...
next i decided to check the camber.. cut a 1x4 to 16 7/16 inch (measurement from edge to edge of rim)... put it on edge and used a two foot level to check and see wich way/how bad the camber was...(had some positive camber on drivers side..passenger side was plumb..)..
next i checked the toe...(string method).....drivers side had 3/4 almost 1 inch toe in.....passenger side had 1/8 toe in....

I then nervously marked the both cam bolts for refernce then lossend the nut front and back, and ever so slowly adjust the both cam nuts till she was plumb..(using the notches on the bolts as refernce to each other)..rolled the truck back and forth re-checked still good....
For the toe i got the wife to hold the steering wheel straight as i adjusted the tie rod/clamps (driver side)checked using the string method... ........got it to 1/8 toe in...re-checked camber/toe both sides....

NOW for the test....Drove it down the road and back re-check everthing...doesnt pull from side to side....but i am going to have readjust the camber as i have a little possitive camber on driver/passenger side...as wells as adjusting the toe....but shes good for now...
I didnt even want to atempt the caster...from what i could tell it looked ok acording to what i read about caster....

Thanks to all who have posted about balljoint spacers and the wheel alignment needed after.....brock

if you were to ever air down your tires when wheeling it would have a greater chance of rubbing the u.c.a. (This is based of speculation, not actual experience.)
